I've packed up 127 backers' orders! I'm headed over to the post office in a few minutes when they open to drop these off.

Not many folks know but it they say it takes two weeks to receive backer funds. Today is the 14th day though my campaign did start and end at 6pm so maybe I'm off by one. I don't have the funds yet but I decided to pay out of pocket for the shipping costs for the first 127 orders. These are all already packed up, labeled, paid for, and ready to ship. I'll be dropping them off in the morning.

It's been a business practice of mine to only ship international orders in the plastic polymailers, and not the kraft paper ones. I ran out of the plastic ones so I paused on packing the international orders. 250 more will be delivered Wednesday, but probably after I leave. I have plenty of the brown ones for domestic orders.

I'm shipping the simple ones first. I packed up everyone from tier 1 that had filled out their survey that only ordered doorstops and no other add-ons. Other add-ons take more time and I haven't had a chance to produce the earrings, coasters etc yet. Then I packed almost all of the domestic unstained doorstop orders across all tiers. We'll see how much I can plow through today. I'm leaving tomorrow for two weeks, so anything I can't get out the door by then will have to wait until I return in July.

Hi everyone!

I've been getting a lot of requests to purchase more of these now that the campaign has ended, so I've enabled the option to do that. Just hit the Buy Now button on the top right of the main page, or head to holdthedoorstop.com if you want to place an order.

There are some other neat goodies available for pre-order too, and some only available for the original backers. One of them that is available for everyone, I present to you... Hold The Doorstop, The T-shirt!

You can pre-order this shirt or select it when you fill out your survey. I'll send it along with your order when I mail out the doorstops. T-shirt production can take an extra week or two, so If you get a shirt that'll delay delivery until July.

I'm about half-way through production on those, so things are moving along well! The surveys will be sent out the beginning of next week, so if you've already backed the campaign, keep an eye out for the survey from BackerKit.

What a week. Special thanks to everyone who backed the campaign. All 431 of you. It's really impressive. We ended with $12,616 funded, 2523% of the original goal of $500.

In the next couple of days I'll be sending out a survey link. Please fill that out promptly so I can ship you your rewards. I've already started making these, and although I said I'd get these to you in July, I'd like to get them done as soon as possible. My personal unofficial shipping goal is to ship out the first reward tier on Monday June 6th, the second next Friday, June 10th, and the third by the 15th of the following week. No promises, but that's my target. To help me meet my goal, please fill out your surveys promptly.

As an offer available only to backers, I'll have some special extras available, so pay attention to those when you're filling out the shipping survey because there might be an add-on that piques your interest.

We're almost at the end of the funding period of the campaign! Thanks for your support in this whole process. I can't believe how much attention it's gotten. We're at over 2000% already!

Once the funding period of the campaign is over, keep an eye on your inbox for the backer's survey I'll be sending out. It'll allow you to fill out your mailing information, confirm shipping, quantity, and order details, and a few other special things.
